The Tiger chain block range is manufactured using high quality materials which have been precisely machined
providing a lightweight, compact and rugged construction which offers an exceptionally strong product with good resistance
to impact. The Tiger chain block has undergone load testing of 1.5 times the rated load capacity and a low load test
of 2% of the rated capacity and has been designed to exceed all the requirements within BS EN 13157:2004, ANSI/ASME B30.21-2005,
AS1418.2 and SANS 1636. Each Tiger chain block is certified stating compliance with the essential health and safety requirements
of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

Chain Blocks
Hand chain hoists are a manual operated
lifting hoist which is also widely known as chain blocks or block and tackle. These manually operated chain block hoist provide
a practical solution to a variety of lifting operation within factories, workshops, garages, construction sites, theatres
and many more working environments.
Available with standard safe working loads starting from 250kg (0.25tonnes)
up to 20000kg (20tonnes) or high specification safe working load hand chain block hoists can be made to order up to 100tonnes.
Chain Blocks are designed to be fitted quickly and easy to a suitable anchor point for example beam clamps, beam trolleys, lifting slings and eyebolts using its top hook suspension with built in safety catch to keep the block and tackle securely attached to the anchor whilst
maintaining a safe method of lifting. Simple to use chain blocks are operated by pulling on the hand chain to lift the load
and in the opposite direction to safely lower the load. The unique brake design maintains safety at all times by automatically
engaging the brake instantly as soon as the hand chain is no longer being pulled holding the load securely in it hanging position.
